The Museum of Chinese in the Americas is dedicated to documenting and intrpreting the history and culture of Chinese Americans. The Museum was founded in 1980 as the New York Chinatown History Project, it received it's museum status in 1992, when it changed it's name to the Musuem of Chinese in the Americas.
