There have been Pueblo peoples in New Mexico for over a thousand years. Whether you live here or are coming for a visit, the two currently occupied historic Pueblos, Taos and Acoma bring allow you to get a glimpse into the past. There are also ancestral Pueblo sites to visit. It's great to visit some of the Pueblos for the handcrafts they are famous for and when traditional dances are scheduled.
