On day 2 of a 4 day camping trip at Elliott Key (in Biscayne National Park), we paddled to Boca Chita Key, 4 miles to the north. There is a lighthouse and other structures made of stone, leftover from the 1930s when the site was used for parties for the Honeywell family. We stayed 2 hours, picnicking, napping, and exploring. The channel on the north side of the island is deep blue and full of fish
