General Description The Bald River Trail is an easy 5.6 mile trail. This trail begins at Bald River Falls and follow Bald River to Bald River Road. Trailhead parking is available. This trail leads into the Bald River Gorge Wilderness Area. Directions from Tellico Plains: Travel east on State Hwy. 1
